Supporting the Library
The State Library of Victoria Foundation plays
a pivotal role in supporting the work of the  Library. Established in
1994, the Foundation has raised funds and attracted other kinds of
support through memberships, donations, sponsorships and bequests. In
recent years, the Foundation has helped the Library to:
- purchase new material and conserve significant items in the collection
- mount major exhibitions, events and programs
- buy interactive technologies for the Keith Murdoch Gallery and Experimedia.
