Operating from a ground-floor street-front boutique with its workshop just beyond the showroom, MDT DESIGN offers something increasingly rare – jewellery that is not mass produced, not imported, and never anonymous. Every engagement ring, wedding band and bespoke piece is individually designed and meticulously handmade on site by master jewellers who remain personally invested in each creation.
For over four decades, clients have entered as customers and left feeling part of the MDT family. Private consultations are conducted by appointment with experienced designers, providing a considered and collaborative environment in which meaningful pieces take shape. Each design is approached not as a product, but as a future heirloom – crafted with structural integrity, longevity and intention.
Renowned for expertise in custom engagement rings, Tension Set Designs and Mokume Gane metalwork, MDT DESIGN combines technical precision with deeply personal craftsmanship. Crafted in platinum and premium golds, and set with carefully selected diamonds and rare gemstones, every piece is created to be worn daily and treasured for generations.
All repairs, restorations and remodelling are completed on premises within the Collins Street workshop, ensuring continuity of care long after a piece leaves the showroom.
