Irish Whiskey Tasting Masterclass at Le Méridien Melbourne

To mark International Whiskey Day, luxury hotel Le Méridien Melbourne is hosting a one-night Irish Whiskey Tasting Masterclass at INTERMISSION, its lobby bar on the Paris End of Bourke Street in Melbourne CBD.

Taking place Friday 27 March from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, the guided tasting will explore six premium Irish whiskeys led by a visiting brand ambassador.

Guests will taste a line-up from some of Ireland’s most respected distilleries including Jameson Black Barrel, Green Spot Single Pot Still, Method and Madness Single Pot Still, Redbreast 12 Year Old, Redbreast 18 Year Old, and Midleton Very Rare 2024, the annual vintage release from the Midleton Distillery.

Each whiskey will be served alongside paired bites prepared by Le Méridien Melbourne’s culinary team.

The event forms part of the hotel’s monthly tasting series at INTERMISSION, which regularly hosts wine and spirits masterclasses in an intimate setting.

Tickets are $89 per person and include six whiskey tastings and paired bites.
